Actually that's a GREAT price. I got a discount.
I went through months of trying various horns, Holton, Bach Strads, Benge, Getzen, etc... Even to get to this particular model, I think I tried 4 different Kanstuls.
A semi-professional horn (like this one) costs around $1,600-$1,800. Professional horns are above $2,000.

You want to know what is crazy? I know some guys on the "trumpet boards" that have as many as 4 horns. They list them in their sigblocks! Even go as far as listing what mouthpieces they use.

I've always loved the look of brass (or silver) instruments! Metallic tubing going in and about itself. They are sculptures in their own right.
